Vibrant Parish Life -- Phase II

The work of Vibrant Parish Life – Phase II goes forward with the implementation of the parish cluster plans as approved by Bishop Lennon.

The diocesan review process for the 68 cluster plans was conducted from September of 2008 to February of 2009. Bishop Lennon, his staff, the Vibrant Parish Life – Phase II Committee and the Presbyteral Council are grateful for the substantive work done by the Cluster Planning and Coordination Teams, working in consultation with parish leaders and parishioners, which is reflected in the plans that were submitted. Following the extensive review process, Bishop Lennon announced the approved cluster plans in his letters of 12 March 2009. The steps for possible appeals were noted in the letters for clusters involving consolidation.

PLEASE NOTE:

Additional resources to support consolidation and the implementation of the approved plans are being coordinated by Deacon James Armstrong, the Special Assistant for Reconfiguration appointed by Bishop Lennon. He serves as the primary contact for matters related to consolidation and implementation, and works with the support of other diocesan staff.
